Former Shawnee resident Arline Belcher, 75, Woodward, died Saturday in her home.

She was born April 17, 1923 to Johnny and Harriet Riddle in Texas. She graduated from Shawnee High School and married Jack Belcher in Shawnee on June 23, 1946. She worked for Sears in Shawnee and Enid. She then lived in Russell, Kansas and Oklahoma City before moving to Woodward in 1957, where she worked for TG&Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her husband of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Pam Belcher of Clinton; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sisters Fanne Gibson of Oklahoma City and Nina Lee Self of Shawnee; two brothers, Bennie Riddle of Yellville, Arkansas and Calvin Riddle of Tecumseh and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Garden Chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Service, Woodward. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
