Ann Clark, 96, of Crawford, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2008. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Dr. Brian Pendleton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cole Funeral Home.

Ann was born in Crawford, Texas, to the late Samuel Washington and LaUna (Giles) Jones. She attended schools in Crawford. On June 18, 1939, she married Eugene Castleman Clark, Jr. in Waco. For many years, she lived in Dallas until Mr. Clark's retirement. While there, she was a 25 year member of the garden club. In 1971, she returned to Crawford and has served as secretary-treasurer of the Evergreen Cemetery Association. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many types of hobbies which included antiques and flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 19, 2005; son, Roy Oliver Clark; eight brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include brother, Eugene "Ike" Jones, of Dayton; sister, Gloria "Dodie" Donaldson, of Temple; and eighteen nieces and nephews.
