Abram Davis, employed in the Delhi Mills, was born in New York in 1830. His parents were Abram L. and Nancy (Carter) Davis, natives of New York. He was reared and educated in Washtenaw county, and learned the trade of miller, which occupation he has followed the greater part of his life. He was married in 1857, and 1 child, Delos, born Sept. 27, 1863, has been given to them. Mr. Davis is the happy possessor of a well-improved farm.
