Services for Elvin Lee, 79, of Apache will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Baptist Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apache with the Rev. Fred Andrews, the Rev. Les Claborn and the Rev. Bud Jones officiating.

Mr. Lee was born April 25, 1916 in Winfield, Ala., and died Saturday in Lawton after a lengthy illness. He married the former Orbie Lee McBride Dec. 9, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1921 and to Apache in 1929. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He farmed in the Apache area until he went to work at Fort Sill as an artillery mechanic. He retired in 1975. He was a charter member of the Bethel Baptist Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a trustee and deacon. He also taught a Bible class and was the Sunday School Superintendent.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Gene Lee of Apache and Sam Lee of Fletcher; one daughter, Donna Lawson of Apache; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Lee (twin) of Apache and Hal Lee of Pocasset; three sisters, Allean Lee and Amanda Brown, both of Apache and Cassie Bynum of El Nido, Calif.

Burial was in Apache's Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home of Apache.
