FUNERAL RITES TODAY
FOR JOHN G. MILLER
STATESVILLE, Feb. 13. - John G. Miller, 64, prominent farmer and churchman, died yesterday afternoon at his home in Shiloh township. He had been in declining health for several years. Mr. Miller was an official member of Sharon Lutheran church and a leading citizen of his community.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Effie Sipes; six sons and three daughters, Coite Miller of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Brita Wike of Mount Holly, Henry, Hubert, Eugene, Ross and Coleman Miller. Mrs. Ethel Setzer and Mrs. Vada Hudson, all of Iredell county. He leaves also four half-brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Sharon Lutheran church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
