Fern D. Manning, age 73, of Franklin, OH; died Sunday February 3, 2008 at her residence. Fern was born in Thornhill, TN on October 14, 1934 to Horace and Mollie Young. She was employed for 40 years at Cheney Pulp and Paper Co as an inspector and retired in 2000. Fern was preceded in death by her parents and first husband William A. McCreary. She is survived by her husband George Manning; a daughter Carla Dalton of Middletown; a step son Wayne Manning of Dayton; a step daughter Karen Sue Coffey of TN; a brother John Coffey of TN; a sister Vi Mckinney of Marion, IN; 2 grandchildren Jennifer and Chad Dalton; a step grandchild Kevin Harold. Funeral services are 1pm Wednesday February 6, 2008 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev Dave Bowling officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
