Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 siblings.
It is so fitting, that a couple married over 71 years, who loved each other, and had been "connected at the hip", would leave this life together.
Margaret and Leroy enjoyed making quilts, eating at Green Valley Restaurant, and doing everything together. They were members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church where Leroy was an Elder and served as Choir director. They were both members of the Order of the Eastern Star 50 year members. Leroy was a 66 year member of the Masonic lodge #868. Margaret worked on Ft. Knox in the personnel department. Leroy retired from Olin Chemical Corporation, he was a volunteer EMT, drove Ambulance for Irvington, and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by 4 children, Brenda Worley, Tom (Pam) Adkisson, Kenny Adkisson, and Patti (Denis) Tocci; 7 grandchildren, Dawn (Vern) Cummings, Christopher Worley, Jennifer Adkisson, Melanie (Daniel) Rusche, Latasha (Michael) Biggs, Stephanie (Mike) Smith, Michelle (Patrick) Fisher; 15 great-grandchildren, Jordan Carman, Caitie (Will) Thompson, Justin Carman, Morgyn Worley, Haedyn Worley, Maelyn Worley, Preston Goldsberry, Paige Goldsberry, Claire Biggs, Chloe Biggs, Kolton Smith, Wyatt Smith, Avery Fisher, Hudson Fisher, and Drew Fisher; great-great-grandson, Elihu Thompson; and Margarets siblings, Martha Greer, Dot Sermersheim, JoAnn Willett, and Joe Greer, Jr.
Visitation for Leroy will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 4-8:00 P.M. EST with a Masonic and Eastern Star service at 6:00 P.M. EST. Visitation will continue, Wednesday, after 9:00 A.M. EST. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. EST with Bro. Layman Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
