He was born September 5, 1950 to Thomas and Alice "Tootsie" (Burge) Brumback in St. Joseph, Missouri.
J.C. married Connie Sue Arbuckle on December 30, 1973 and were married for 46 years.
He started working at Wire Rope in 1973 and retired after 38 years.
J.C. enjoyed watching Westerns, listening to 50's music and watching 80's action movies. He had great carpentry and mechanic skills. He also loved spending time with his family and traveling around the country with them.
He was preceded in death by his wife; grandson, Jonah Derickson; and siblings, Richard, Mabel, George (LeRoy), Frank, and Joyce.
Survivors include his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Thursday, The Pentecostal of St. Joseph. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
