"MRS. LAURA DUVALL DIES AT AGE OF 79 - Perry County Woman Succumbs January 21 to Paralytic Stroke

Mrs. Laura Duvall, relict of Louis Duvall, died at 5 o'clock Monday morning, January 21, following a paralytic stoke which she suffered the Saturday preceding her death. She was 79 years old. The funeral will be held at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning with burial at Silver Lake cemetery.

Mrs. Duvall, whose maiden name was Nash, was born February 12, 1849. On April 24, 1870, she was married to Louis Duvall and to their union were born 10 children, 7 of whom survive. They are: Lawrence Duvall, of McBride, Raymond Duvall and Albinus Duvall, of Silver Lake, James Duvall, of Menfro, Mrs. Peter Geile and Mrs. Ignatius Ruch, of Silver lake, and Mrs. Henry LaRose, of Bois Brule Bottoms. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Carrie Hayden, of near Brewer, 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The husband died several years ago, also a son, Thomas D. Duvall, died Sunday, August 13, 1882, aged 2 years and 6 days."
