Jacksonville, Sept. 1 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Parker McPhail, widow of the late E. E. McPhail, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merle Crouse, here, will be held at 2:30 p.m. (C.S.T.) Friday at the Central Christian church in charge of Rev. Leslie G. Heuston. Interment will be in Diamond Grove cemetery. The body is at the Cody & Son Memorial home.
She was born in Mt. Sterling, March 31, 1866, daughter of James and Sarah Parker. She married Eugene E. McPhail on March 29, 1883, in Mt. Sterling and the couple resided there for about 15 years before moving to this city. Mrs. Crouse of this city and Mrs. Maude Rowlands of Chanute, Kan.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
