He was born to Charlie and Louise Evans in Roosevelt, OK. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1960 and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
He married Lynda Hadley on December 31, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV.
Evans was employed by Acme Die Cutting in Los Angeles. He and his wife owned Burford Brittanys Kennel and bred and Showed Brittany Spaniels.
Survivors ainclude his wife Lynda of the home in Hesperia, CA; his mother Louise Evans, Hobart, OK; a sister Linda Marler and husband Danny, Norman, OK; a brother Sam Evans and wife Jmie, El Reno, OK; a brother-in-law Mathew Salter, Hobart, OK; three stepchildren, Kenneth Gibson, John Gibson both of Las Vegas, NV and Teresa Tveit, Vinjay, IO; and numerous grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Diana Kay Evans Salter.
Memorial Services will be held in the home in Hesperia, CA at 2 p.m., October 20, 2002.
