Sends Bullet Through His Brain
Our town was greatly shocked when it became known that Abram HEPLER, a carpenter, who lived just west of town, had committed suicide late Saturday night by shooting himself through the left temple with a revolver.

Mr. HEPLER had been in town during the evening and returned to his home between eleven and twelve o'clock. On entering the house he sat down on a chair and fell asleep. His wife aroused him and asked him to go to bed. After talking to his wife for some time he told her that all his trouble was up street. He then secured a shot gun, but his wife got this from him. He then went upstairs and got a revolver, and after coming down he embraced his wife and told her that she had always been his friend, and then started out, saying it was necessary.

In a few minutes a shot was heard, and when Mrs. Hepler went out she found her husband dead. He had shot himself throught the left temple. We are requested by friends of the deceased from further account at this time. Mr. Hepler was a kind husband, and he and his wife had always lived amiacably together.

Abram Hepler was born in Sugarcreek township, Armstrong County, June 10, 1860. He was a carpenter by trade and came to Rimersburg March 16, 1910. He was married, his wife's maiden name being Maria E. HARMAN. There was no children born to them.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Rebecca Hepler, who made her home with him; by three brothers, D. S. Hepler, of East Brady; William S. Hepler, of Cowansville, and J. A. Hepler of Kennerdell; and by two sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Morris, of Rimersburg; and Mrs. Elizabeth Wiles, of Cowansville.

Funeral services were held at the St. Paul's Reformed church in Armstrong County, Wednesday, October 27th, conducted by Rev. A. S. Lenhart, assisted by Rev. R. K. Atchison, of Rimersburg, and Rev. Maxwell, of St.Paul's church.

Interment was made in the St. Paul's Cemetery. There was a very large concourse of people present at the funeral.
