RUSTON—J.O. Adams, 98, of Ruston died Wednesday afternoon in a Ruston nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services in the Greenwood Cemetery were held at 2 p.m. Thursday under the direction of Spears Funeral Home. The Rev. A. H. Johnson officiated.
Mr. Adams was a retired farmer, a native of Bolen, Ark., and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Aldolph Adams of Gloster and Elmore Adams of Ruston; a sister, Mrs. Emma Finley of El Dorado, Ark.; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
