L. L. Houghton | Long Illness: Lester L. Houghton, 62, of 2207 Coolidge av., retired Goodyear employee, died Friday in Akron City Hospital after a long illness. Born in Strange Creek, W. Va., he had lived in Akron 29 years, moving here from Richwood, W. Va. He retired from Goodyear six years ago. He was a member of the Mt. Akra Lodge 680 F&AM and the Cathedral of Tomorrow; He leaves his wife, Flora B. ; six brothers, Minter, Toledo, and Charlie, Virgil, Earl, Earnest, and Flem, all of West Virginia; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Goad, West Virginia, and Mrs. Vina Dean, Maryland. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Sunday at the Carr Akron chapel. The Mt. Akra Lodge will conduct services at 7:30 p. m. Sunday.
