JAMES BROADWATER OBITUARY
James C. Broadwater, age 93, on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002 at his home. Born Feb. 24, 1909 in Dry Run, Md., he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Rachel Jane Broadwater.

James was a retired steelworker from U.S. Steel, Clairton Works. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta (Teets) Broadwater.

Survived by daughters, Mary Parasky of Kennedy Twp. and Nancy Reese of West Elizabeth; sons, James Broadwater of McKeesport, Richard Broadwater of West Newton, Pa. and David Broadwater of Mt. Joy, Pa.; brothers, Freeman Broadwater of Waltersburg, Pa. and Gerald Broadwater of Oakland, Md.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Friends received 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 Second Street, Elizabeth. Memorial Service 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ralph Cotten officiating.

Interment in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
