Suggested edit: The original obelisk tombstone was double-sided with Ansel and Elizabeth Terry's information on opposite sides. The upright picture was taken by Arta (Terry ) Blonshine in the 1960's. The stone was later knocked off its pedestal by grazing cattle. At some point in the 1990's another descendant, Charles Terry, put up the flat tombstone for Ansel Terry and had the broken obelisk removed and stored in his niece's barn near St. Joseph, Missouri, without noticing Elizabeth's information as it was probably stained by grass and dirt. He also paid to have the cemetery fenced. Wayne and Shirley Terry visited the cemetery in 2003; Shirley, who started working with Arta Blonshine on the Terry genealogy in 1966, was disappointed to find the obelisk gone and no stone for Elizabeth. She was able to track down the original stone and contact Charles Terry who promised to put up a new stone for Elizabeth to match the one he had made for Ansel. Shirley has written an article about "The Missing Monument" which can be found at http://www.l-ags.org/tracer/Vol_41_1.pdf
