In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Michaels; brothers, Earl and David McQueen. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles Watson; 2 daughters, Billie Jane (Dana) Green of West Carrollton and Lu Ann (Donald) Saunders of Miamisburg; 3 sisters, Doris Bell and Garnet Wilson of Elizabethtown, KY and Gladys Reynolds of Lexington, KY; 2 grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Schwartz of North Port, FL and Donald (Carrie) Saunders III; a great-granddaughter, Zoe Jane Schwartz. Grethel graduated from the Annville Institute in Annville, KY in 1940. She was a retired floor supervisor for J.C. Penney in Berkley, CA, Miamisburg, Town & Country and the Dayton Mall location for over 30 years.
