She was a native of Jackson County, a retired school teacher from Fort Knox School System and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Col. Roy J. Bell; parents, A.C. and Sarah Moore McQueen and five siblings.
Survivors include her two sons, Bruce E. (Mavis) Bell and Roy J. (Andrea) Bell III; a stepdaughter, Jean L. Hess; a sister, Gladys Reynolds; three granchildren, Davis, Emily and Cheryl; two great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Ava; four nephews and five nieces.
Burial in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
