Also surviving are one son, Edward "Rick" Heiken, Jr (and Maisie) and one sister, Audrey (Gene) Van Pelt.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She worked in the office of the telephone communications at Illinois State University. She was a member of the Improvement League, BroMenn Auxilary, Daughters of the American Revolution and Normal Women's Club. She was a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a past worthy matron.
She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington.
