Missy was born February 15, 1968 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She graduated from Artesia High School in 1986. Missy served in the U.S. Army. She worked in the medical field many years including doctors' offices and Carlsbad Municipal Schools. Missy trained and assisted her late ex-husband Master Richard Granger in Tae Kwon Do and achieved a black belt. She enjoyed painting and writing poetry. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Missy is preceded in death by her father, Rudy Holguin; sister, Terry Martinez and ex-husband, Richard Granger, Jr.
Survivors are her sons: Richard Allen Granger and Ryan Granger; mother, Emma Trujillo; siblings: Diedra Graziano, Jerome Holguin and wife, Donna, Gerald Holguin and wife, Cindy, Marissa Udovich and husband, Chad, Nathan Chavarria and wife, Ashley and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Darius Chavarria, Tony Dominguez, Juan Duran, Delmonico Granger-Moreno, Mark Trujillo, Siloah Trujillo. Should friends and family desire to make memorial contributions, they may be made to Brittney's Hope, c/o Faith, Hope & Love Foundation, 933 N. Canal St., Carlsbad, NM 88220.
