Died, in Chicago, Sunday, Oct. 11, Mrs. Charles J. Ambs, aged 33 years. Mrs. Ambs death was the result of an operation performed in the hope of saving her life, she having been ill for two months. She was the daughter of H. W. Rokker of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Ambs moved to Chicago abut fifteen months ago, when Mr. Ambs took charge of Mr. Rokker's business in that city. The deceased is survived by her husband and four children. The remains will be brought to this city for burial. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 10-12-1896
