She md on 28 Jun 1856 Shelby Co., OH. to Samuel Byerly whom she does show with in the 1860 & 1870 census with along with daugters Angeline and Esther.

According to the National Archives warrant file of Philip Young, Kezia (a.k.a. "Keziah") was married to Philip Young on July 30, 1826, in Pickaway County, OH, said ceremony having been performed by justice of the peace Peter Miller. According to the "Biography of the Young Family," p. 48, Kezia had been Philip's housekeeper "who had taken care of his first wife in her last sickness." "First wife" is a reference to Nancy Ann McLain (a.k.a. "McLean") Young who died in Pickaway County in May of 1825. In 1830 Kezia & Philip moved to Shelby County, OH, and settled on an unimproved farm in Franklin Township. Kezia & Philip reportedly parented 11 children between the years of 1827 & 1845: Sarah Ann Young, William Young (also buried at Wesley Cemetery), Peter Miller Young (also buried at Wesley Cemetery), Melissa Jane Young (also buried at Wesley Cemetery), Silas Dunbar Young, Washington Carter Young (also buried at Wesley Cemetery), Angeline (a.k.a. "Lina") Hedge Young, Levi Young, Esther Miller Young, & two infants who died at birth. Following the 1850 death of Philip Young, Kezia was married to Samuel Buireley (a.k.a. "Byerly") on June 28, 1856, said ceremony having been conducted in Shelby County by magistrate Vincent Guerin.
