Lucille was born in Aquilla, Texas, to D.A. and Beulah (Latham) Brogden. She and her husband, James Felton Alexander, had eight children. She spent her life raising her children and caring for others. Lucille was very devoted to serving the Lord. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers; daughter, Helen Ruth Alexander; sons, James Howard, Dalton, and Weldon Alexander; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include her sons, Daulton Alexander and wife, Alicia, of Burleson, and Carlton Alexander, of Whitney; daughters, Nelda Kattner and husband, Richard, of Waco, and Peggy Morris, of Whitney; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and neighbors whom she loved very much.
