Amy was born on August 13, 1979, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Thomas Glen and Dawn Renee Paul Dillman. She was raised in Grinnell and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1998. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois, with a degree in Interior Design, in 2002.
On June 20, 2014, she married Joalan Dean Price, in Des Moines, and the couple lived in Urbandale. Amy was employed as a designer with Paramount Kitchen & Bath in Grimes. She was a talented artist and enjoyed crafting.
Her family, her children, and traveling were a few of her passions in life. She was an advocate for children, especially international adoptions, and was a volunteer for CASA.
She is survived by her husband, Joe of Urbandale; four children, Boden and Norah Price of Urbandale, and Bailey and Hunter Price of Waukee; her mother, Dawn of Grinnell; two siblings, Matt (Becky) Dillman of Grinnell and Amber (Adam) Wolthuizen of Valley Springs, South Dakota; and her grandmother, Joyce Paul of Grinnell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom in 2020, and her grandparents, David Paul in 2021, Rosella Dillman in 2022, and Glen Dillman in 2011.
