The Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Parks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery.
Mr. Lipham was born Nov. 19,1916, in Wedowee, Ala., a son of Mellard Lipham and Elizabeth Morrow Lipham.
He was a graduate of Wedowee schools and attended Auburn College.
He was an Army sergeant during World War II, where he served in the Italy Campaign. He received the Bronze Metal, Purple Heart and Victory Metal.
He was a member of Summerville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Knight Lipham; a son, Wayne C. Lipham of Summerville; two daughters, Phyllis Reece of Clinton and Robin Berger of Sumter; four brothers, Jessie Lipham and Kenneth Lipham, of Pensacola, Fla., Homer Lipham and J.C. Lipham, both of Summerville; three sisters, InezBailey and Dorothy Traylor, both of Pensacola, and Erlene Shellnutt of Bushnell, Fla., and seven grandchildren.
