Dorothy Lee (Cruse) Henry passed away from this life on December 6th, 2022 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Dorothy was born on February 27th, 1936 in Moyers, Oklahoma to Carrie and Horace Cruse. She married Avery Henry in 1952 in Antlers, Oklahoma and they started their life journey together. Dorothy enjoyed doing crafts and painting, and taking care of chickens. She was a homemaker all of her life and enjoyed taking care of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Steve Henry and wife Roni of Clayton, OK, and Scarlett Davis and husband Brock of Quinton, OK; grandchildren, Hesston Cheatwood and wife Tonya, Shane Henry, Morgan Henry; great grandchildren, Kyle Henry, Avery Ben, Gentry Henry, Raylie Ben and Kane Cheatwood; brother, Porter Cruse and wife Louise of Cabol, MO; nephews, James Cruse of Cabol, MO, and Joe Cruse of Tuskahoma, OK; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in passing by her husband, Avery (Dink) Henry parents, Horace Porter Cruse and Carrie Mae Cruse; brother Stanley Joe Cruse.
Pallbearers will be Wally Kitchel, Kyle Henry, Colby Howry, Jimmy Gill, Rick Gill, and Jim Gill.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Heath Henry and Stoney Brossard.
Services will be on Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Clayton Church of Christ with Bro. Chris Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at AL Stephens Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
