Dahnene Marie (Pryor) Moravits passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 4, 2022 surrounded by family and friends, after a short but valiant and challenging battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Don, her brothers Larry (Marty) Pryor, and CW (Mary) Pryor, and step-son Ryan (Valerie) Moravits, grand children Nevaeh and Brody Moravits, nephews Jacob and Travis Pryor, nieces Cathy Jo Pryor, Dayna (Ross) Koenig and Sudie (Jarred) Popham, great nephews Micah Ramirez and Owen Popham, great nieces Janet (Jacob) Dow, Shelly Koenig and Charlotte Popham, and great great niece Kiaya Dow. She also is survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family along with friends all across the United States.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles "Red" Pryor and Jo Laverne Thornell Pryor and niece Lori Mae Pryor.
She was greatly loved and admired by all who came to know her. Her capacity for common sense, straightforward truth, and strong, but gentle, loving advice were her trademarks. As one friend put it, I wish everyone could have known her, if for only one minute and the world is a better place because she lived.
The family would also like to express our gratitude to Vitas Healthcare and nurse Melinda for making the absolutely impossible as acceptable as possible.
