Death has called a beloved friend and mother, Eugenia Baker Simpson from her son's home at the age of 78.
She was born in Georgia Feb 16, 1859, and came here with her parents, when but a small child.
She was united in marriage in 1876, to W. W. Simpson, who proceeded her in death in 1921.
To this union, were born seven (7) children. Five who were called to the Great Beyond are: Roland, Lula, Albert, Arthur, and Lee. Survivors are Mrs Emma Brewer of Clarendon, and Walter Simpson of Hagler, one sister Mrs Emma Miller. Thirty (30) grandchildren and Thrity-eight (38) great grand children.
