She graduated from Springfield High School. She worked as a waitress, taxi driver, nurse, and later was employed at the Head Start Program in Springfield. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and drawing.
She married Farish Maxwell Wentzell on January 30, 1953 but they later divorced.
She married Octave Sylvester on November 21, 1959 in Claremont but they later divorced January 20, 1972 in Windsor, VT.
She married John Sheehan who preceded her in death.
She was predeceased by her husband John Sheehan, ex husband Octave Sylvester, son Armond Sylvester, and siblings John Davis, Joann, and Mary.
Survivors include sons Joseph, Dennis, Michael and Richard Sylvester; stepdaughter Patricia Ladd; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Antoinette.
Burial is in Oakland cemetery in Springfield, VT.
