He will be remembered for his vast knowledge of computers and lifelong friendships that he made over the years at the Springfield Moose Lodge.
In his earlier years he enjoyed traveling and later was an avid computer gamer and also enjoyed photo shopping and restoring old photos. He had a passion for reading and shared that passion with his family. He will always be remembered for his sarcastic wit, sense of humor, quick comebacks and lived by the motto "tell it like it is."
Family was very important to Armond. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and "Newt" to his siblings.
He is survived by his mother, Ramona Sylvester, a son, Gary Wheeler and his wife, Karen, three daughters, Christina Sylvester, Vanessa Perry and her husband, John, Amber Sanderson and her husband, Michael, eight grandchildren, Crimson, Taylan, Amaya, Haily, Destiny, Arianna, Tristan, Sophia, a sister, Pat, four brothers, Joe, Dennis, Mike and Ricky as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Octave Sylvester.
