HARRY V DUNBAR

Harry Vincent Dunbar was born on May 14, 1903 to John D. and Cordelia C (Kelley) Dunbar near Frazier, Mo.
Harry attended school and grew up in the Frazier Community and graduated from Christian Brother High School in St Joseph. On Nov 29, 1924, he was united in marriage to Grace Davidson. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City and later moved to St. Joseph and in 1944 they moved to the Frazier area where they farmed. He also worked for St Joseph Power and Light Co., and was a mail carrier for the
U. S. Post Office in North Kansas City. Harry was a member of the Huffman United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club in St. Joseph, Gower Masonic Lodge and also served on the Gower School Board for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Grace of the home, 1 daughter, Mary Jo. Johnston, Shawnee, Ks; 1 son John D., Jack Dunbar, Kansas City; a sister in law, Marjorie Weakley, Leavenworth, Ks, 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
