Rescue Dog. She was a Golden Labrador Retriever that served in the Mexican Navy. She and her handler assisted in the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2012 Guatemala landslide, the aftermath of an explosion in Mexico City in 2013, and two earthquakes—one in 2016 in Ecuador, and the other in 2017 in Puebla, Mexico. It is said that she assisted in the rescue of more than 52 people during her service. She was honored with a statue in Puebla. She retired from active service in 2019 but continued to help train other dogs until she passed away.
