CROSSVILLE, Tenn--Frank Edwin Burkepile Jr., 82, of Crossville, died Monday, April 24, 2006, at home.
He was born August 25, 1923, to Frank Edwin Burkepile Sr. and Lillie Lent Burkepile, in Elyria, Ohio.
A retired truck driver for Commercial Loveless Motor Freight, he was a World War II veteran.
He was an avid wood worker, former square dancer and a member of Crab Orchard Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Esther Smith Burkepile of Crossville; children, Larry Burkepile, Toni Burkepile, Ronald (Anita) Burkepile, Steve (Dixie) Burkepile, Deb (Mike) Bryant, Kevin Burkepile, Marlene Cline (C.B.), Rebecca Callahan, Matthew Maries and Bill Maries, all of Ohio; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Leora Burns, Vera Baber, Elnora Miller; brother, Robert Burkepile; family friend, Denise Ezell.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank Edwin Burkepile Sr. and Lillie Lent Burkepile; son, James Burkepile; brothers, John, Leonard and Harold Burkepile; sister, Dorothy Chase.
