James Scott Martin, age 62, died suddenly of apoplexy Monday afternoon of last week while talking to two neighbors in the public road near the home of his brother Sid in the southeast part of the county. He suddenly said he was blind and collapsed.The men took him to his brother's, but he died before reaching there. He leaves his wife, four sons and four daughters, and a large number of other relatives. He was brother to George W. Martin. Funeral services were held at Farmers Chapel last Wednesday, Elder Ray Collings officiating. Interment in the Martin Cemetery.
