Mary Ellen Whitsitt, 93, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Weatherford.

Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made in Mary Whitsitt's memory to New Faith Baptist Church – Attn: Building Fund, 3303 West FM 5, Aledo, TX 76008

Mary was born October 11, 1929 in Buffalo Springs, daughter of Joe Grant and Clemmie Neta (Allen) Simons.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Suzanne (Suzie) Hall and husband, Billy; grandson, Dusty Brown and wife, Sarah; great-grandchildren, Katie and Daniel Brown; sister-in-law, Jerrye Faltyn and husband, Len; and many other extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Hilltop Park Memory Care Unit nurses and aides and also to the staff of Valor Hospice for the love, attention and care they gave Mary during her time in their care.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
