TEMPE – Albert Raymond Abrahams, 68, owner of Al's Big Chef Café in Phoenix for 15 years, died July 29, 1985, at his Tempe residence. Mr. Abrahams was born in Kansas and moved to Arizona in 1946 from California. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Tempe. Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughters, Karen and Barbara; sons, Ron and Douglas; a sister and three brothers; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at his church, 2720 S. Dorsey Lane. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale made arrangements.
