WILLIAM CARD
William Card was born in Moscow, Ont., Dec. 13, 1823. He was marriedin 1851, to Miss Sarah McWilliams, who survives him. He, together with his wife and family moved toGladwin Co., Mich., in 1885, where he has resided ever since. Mr. Card has enjoyed health, happiness and a good long and prosperous life but finally worn out with age he quietly passed away April 14, 1910. Mr. Card joined the Friends [Quaker] church at a young age, but has been a supporter of the M. E. church ever since he come to Gladwin.
He leaves to mourn his death a wife, Mrs. Sarah Card, and seven children: Mrs. Wellington Wagar, Mrs. James Wagar, Mrs. Charles Bauserman, Mrs. James McDougall, Mrs. Amos Wagar and Mrs. John Card of Gladwin and Reuben Card of Rockford, Ill., together with several grandchildren, relatives and friends.
