Barbara Ann (Brazee) Paquin age 66 of Oakville passed away Sunday June 23, 2013 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Jean G. Paquin.
Barbara was born on December 5, 1946 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late John and Mamie (Machie) Brazee and was a lifelong Oakville resident.
She was a graduate of Watertown High School and worked hard for her family for many years. Prior to her retirement in 2006, Barbara was employed at the Siemon Company in Watertown for over 12 years. She was very talented at card making and stamping, she even taught her craft at the senior center where she volunteered.
Barbara's first love was her Savior Jesus Christ, she served him faithfully by loving her husband, family and everyone she met. She hosted the Women's Bible Study at New Hope Anglican Church in Oakville, sharing her hospitality by serving casseroles and treats.
Her biggest delight was her grandchildren, Barbara shared their proud moments with everyone.
Besides her husband and best friend of 28 years of Oakville,
she leaves three daughters,
Jackie LePine and her husband Paul of Oakville,
Tracy Grieves and her husband James of Gorham, Maine,
Wendy Pernerewski and her husband Anthony of Torrington.
She also leaves 6 grandchildren
Rachel, Matthew and Sara LePine and Sophia, Anabelle and Anthony Pernerewski.
Funeral Friday June 28, 2013 at 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church, 305 Main Street, Watertown, CT 06795.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown.
Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cardiac Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital, 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, CT 06705.
