Mrs. Brazee, widow of John L. Brazee Sr., died Monday, February 1, at Waterbury Hospital. She was born in Westford, Vt., on August 20, 1917, daughter of the late Edward and Nora E. (O'Neill) Machia Troy.
She was educated in Vermont and later moved to Watertown and Oakville as a child. She had been a resident of Watertown and Oakville for most of her life. She was employed for several years at the former Autoyre of Oakville. Mrs. Brazee was an avid bowler.
She leaves three sons, Edward C. Brazee of Aubum, Ga., and Thomaston, George W. Brazee of California, and Thomas Brazee of Waterbury; four daughters, Shirley J. Hoffman of Waterbuiy, Noreen S. Morrow of Naugatuck, Linda Posila of Naugatuck, and Barbara Paquin of Oakville; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, John L. Brazee Jr. and David James Brazee.
