Paul M Gladhill, 65, Waynesboro R5, died at the Waynesboro hospital Saturday afternoon at 2:40.
Born in Adams County, he was a son of the late Grant and Grace Miller Gladhill. His wife, Eva Mae Lewis Gladhill died June 25, 1970.
He was a machine operator at the Waynesboro Pipe Co.
Surviving are eight children; Mrs. George Tallent, Little Rock, Ark.; Paul R., Waynesboro R5; Mrs. Robert Borne, Blue Ridge summit; Mrs. Ernest Hambly, Clarksville, Tenn.; Mrs. Larry toms, Waynesboro R5; Mrs. Ray Gadson, Middlebury, Ind.; Mrs. Charles Eshelman, Waynesboro R4, and Timothy Gladhill, Fairfield R1.
Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and three brothers, Ernest, Sabillasville, Md.; Howard, Fairfield R1; Harry, Waynesboro.
He was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, but attended the Open Door Church of Chambersburg, and he was active in its bus ministry.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Terry Rhyne, assistant pastor of the Open Door Church of Chambersburg. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Cemetery.
