Myrta M. Cripps, 88, of Gladwin, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1983, at West Branch Geriatric Village following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 7, 1894, in Paulding, Ohio. She moved to Gladwin County as a chiId and attended Gladwin area schools. She married William Cripps, March 7, 1917. He died June 3, 1978.
She leaves her children, William Cripps, Arlene Wray, Garlen Cripps, and Ila Farrow, all of Gladwin, Don Cripps of Corunna, and Neva Vaughn of Flint; 24 grandchildren; 52 great grand-children; two great great grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Mary) Groves of Beaverton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mathews Funeral Home in Gladwin, with the Rev Robert Schoaff officiating. BuriaI will be in Ridge cemetery. Friends may can at the funeral home anytime after 2 p.m today.
