She was the daughter of the late Mary Turner Wright and George Lowell Wright.
Survivors include two sons, Johnathan and Joshua Thomas; three sisters, Mary D. Foxx and her husband, Charles, of Woodford, Verdree Ann Parker of Fredericksburg and Shelia Mae Wright of Stafford County; two brothers, George L. Wright, Jr. and his wife, Edith, of Spotsylvania County and the Rev. Robert F. Wright and his wife, Alberta, of Beaverdam; one aunt, Lucille Wright; one devoted niece, Melissa Yvette Holmes; her godmother, Emma Syrkes; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral held Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 12 noon at St. John Baptist Church, 17080 South River Road, Woodford, Virginia 22580, with the Rev. W. G. Berryman, pastor, officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
Viewing Friday, February 8, 2008, from 12 noon to 8pm at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home and one hour prior to service Saturday at the church.
