Leona Aipperspach, 100, of Wishek, ND, passed away October 23, 2022 at the Wishek Living Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at St. Luke Cemetery.

Leona was the daughter of Fred and Martha (Ackerman) Sayler. She was born on February 25, 1922. She was raised on the Sayler family farm NW of Wishek.

In 1945 she married Ruben Aipperspach at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Leona was very active in St. Luke Lutheran Church Woman's group and sang in the church choir for many years.

Leona is survived by her children, Duane (Annmarie Warter), Robert (Eileen Saville); five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Roland and Larry; sisters, Phyllis, Ardella and Judy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven (1972); husband, Ruben (2017); sisters, Eunice, Violet and Alice; and brother, Edward.
