Robert V. Cochran, 72, of Eaton, died Thursday, June 13, 2002. Born Aug. 23, 1929, in Mohigan, W.Va., the Air Force veteran was retired from General Motors Inland Division.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Druley Cochran; daughters, Carolyn Smith and Sharon Jackson; and son, Lloyd Rodefer.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. (Ohio time) Tuesday at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with visitation from 6-9 p.m. (Ohio time) Monday.

Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3330 Upshur-Northern Road, Eaton, OH 45320, or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 203, Eaton, OH 45320.
