Funeral services for Georgia Louise Ross, 83, of Charlestown, were held at 11 a.m. this morning, Monday, Dec. 6, at R. D. Pyke Funeral Service, Henryville, with burial in Silver Creek Cemetery, Sellersburg. She died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour.
She was a native of Floyd County and a retired employee of ICI America, Charlestown. She was a member of Speed Memorial Church, Sellersburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Carter, Seymour and Sonja Zheim, Charlestown; a son, Charles Ross Jr. and wife, Karen, Charlestown; a brother, Vernand "Fred" Burr, Sellersburg; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross Sr.; a daughter, Marcella Boom and her parents, Bill and Florence Tevis Burr.∼MARRIED CHARLES H. ROSS JULY 12, 1935
