Greensburg Daily News, Greensburg, Ind, Jul 2, 1921: Dies Suddenly at Home in Milford. Mrs. Hannah Conk was in Yard Picking up Apples when She Falls Over Dead. Mrs. Hannah Conk, 82 years old died suddenly at 6:30 this morning at her home in Milford. Mrs. Conk was in her yard picking up apples when she suffered a hemorrhage of the lungs and fell to the ground dead. Her daughter, Mrs. Lon Gregory, who was near, immediately went to her assistance but found her dead. Mrs. Conk had been in unusually good health and her death today was a shock to her relatives and many friends in the county. Surviving besides the daughter, who has been making her home with her mother in Milford, are two sons, John, of Indianapolis, and James, his twin, of Milford. In addition there are two grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Mitchell, of Milford, and Ralph Conk, and one grandchild. Born in Butlerville, Jennings county, 82 years ago, Mrs. Conk had been a resident of the Milford community for the last forty years. She was married to George Conk in November 1876 [1870 per marriage record], and he preceded her in death by 16 years. She was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist church near Butlerville.
