Judith C. Becker, age 78, of Kingman, Arizona, passed away Dec. 12, 2021 at the Joan & Dianna Hospice Home in Kingman with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 7, 1943 to Edith and Willard Hulse of Fairmont, Nebraska.

Judy is survived by her husband Rex Becker of 58 years; Daughter Jill (Dennis) Bailey; their five children, Darren, Kevin, Carolyn, Megan and Paul; their spouses and seven grandchildren; Son Bryan Becker; daughter Vail; two stepchildren, Tyler and Aspen; their spouses and a grandchild; and Son Tony (Donna) Becker and their children, Cianna, Arianna, and Brittaine.

Judy, the fourth of 10 children, grew up on her parents' farm, went to country school through fifth grade, then attended Fairmont Public Schools where she graduated high school. She was employed by Farmers State Bank for four years. It was there she met Rex Becker. They were married May 25, 1963, and relocated to Prescott, Arizona where Rex had an employment opportunity.

Judy worked at Goldwater's Department Store, attended Yavapai College, and was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish where she served as vice president and president of the women's altar society.

Rex and Judy became parents on their second wedding anniversary when daughter Natalie Jill was born, later followed by two sons, Bryan and Tony.

A job transfer for Rex took the family to Kingman, Arizona in 1970 where they lived the next 17 years. They returned to Prescott for four years, then settled in Kingman.

Judy volunteered as a teacher's aide, was a Cub Scout den leader and Brownie Troop assistant leader in Kingman.

She was enrolled at MCC and an active member of St. Mary's Church where she served on the liturgy committee and volunteered in the church office many years. Judy also tutored reading through the literacy program. She was a bookkeeper 25 years for a private investor in property management.

Judy also worked part-time in interior design and drafting. As a self-taught, accomplished artist, her creative talents are evident in a variety of paintings and home decor design.

Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her. She loved doing arts and crafts, reading and hiking with the grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sister Beverly Ely, her husband Bill and their son Larry of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother Charles Hulse; infant niece Francine Thompson; brother-in-law George Thompson, all of Fairmont, Nebraska; sister Suzanne Languis of Panama, Nebraska; and infant great-granddaughter Paradise Vandeman, Kingman, Arizona.

Judith is survived by sisters Donna Thompson and Janice (Del) Galusha, both of Fairmont Nebraska; sister Gloria (James) Swartz, Marshall, Minnesota; brother Marvin (Corinne) Hulse; sister Crystal (Kevin) Davis all of York, Nebraska; sister Cynthia (Jon) Rethwisch of Wayne, Nebraska; and many nieces, nephews, their families and other relatives.

Arrangements are being handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 5 p.m., followed with a Rosary at 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 303 E. Spring St. Burial will follow the services at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Joan & Dianna Hospice Home, 812 Airway Ave., Kingman, AZ 86401.
