John Corris Baxley, 89, husband of Charlotte Coker McGee Baxley, died Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree.
Mr. Baxley was born July 29, 1933, in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Azalee Ray Baxley and George Washington Baxley. He was a graduate of Hemingway schools and was a self-employed merchant. He attended Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Baxley was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Harrelson Baxley, brothers, Raymond Baxley and George Baxley, and a sister, Geneva Yarbrough.
