Ms. Lucille Catherine McLeigh/Leigh Schwaigert, 71, of Harpers Ferry, died December 13, 1935 at her home.
She is survived by two daughters, Caroline May Schwaigert Crum and husband, Robert M. Crum of Harpers Ferry and Ida Susan Schwaigert Wenner of Brunswick, Md. Two sisters, Bertha Leigh/Lay Bond and Clara Norris Leigh Roberts.
She was the daughter of the late James M. Leigh and Susan Frances Riley Leigh. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Idella May Leigh Cleveland, Elizabeth Octavia Whetnall and Sitha H. Leigh Peacher. In addition to her daughters she is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Also many friends.
Mrs. Schwaigert made her home with her Grandson William August Crum in Harpers Ferry. She was a nurse and a housekeeper by profession and a very well known lady in the community of Harpers Ferry. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
