Ada Coffey Lewis,
80, of Rt. 1, Winfield, passed away at the Scott County Hospital on Monday morning, June 4, 1984. Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of the late Cap Coffey and the late Lettie McBride Coffey, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Arnold Lewis; five brothers: Walter Othel, John, Ome, Jeff, and William Jennings Coffey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oneida. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Betty June Hall of Winfield; a sister, Mrs. Maude C. Davis of Oneida; three grandchildren: Kathy Thomas, Jerry Hall, and Nicky Hall, all of Winfield; and one great-grandchild, Brent Thomas of Winfield. Funeral services were conduced from the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, with Rev. O. E. Owens officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Valley Cemetery. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
